Insurance and reinsurance broker Miller’s expansion into the parametric insurance market will be led by Alice Glenister, who joins the firm from Mastercard where she was Director of Insurance.
Miller’s newly formed parametric team will have an exclusive focus on parametric insurance and bring deep knowledge of the application of parametric structures across a range of industries and sectors.
As the broker looks to expand the scope of triggers beyond the natural catastrophe space, Miller says that it will work to provide clients with a diverse range of solutions tailored to their specific needs and risk profile.
The team, based in London, will be led by Glenister, who brings parametric underwriting experience from her tenure with Italian insurer Generali, and also includes Charlie Liddle from OneGlobal, and Rowan Minhas from Miller.
