Miller, an independent specialist in re/insurance broking, is pleased to announce the addition of Amanda Armitage and Scott Gorman to its Professional & Financial Lines division.
Armitage joins Miller’s International Professions Team as Business Development Manager, bringing over 15 years of insurance industry experience with a focus on professional indemnity.
She previously held a role as Development Director at PIB Insurance Brokers, where she identified new business prospects across sectors such as renewables, healthcare, logistics, property, and construction.
Gorman joins as Head of the UK and International PI Wholesale team, coming from Price Forbes (formerly MGB Insurance Brokers), where he led the New Business Division specialising in professional indemnity insurance.
His background includes experience as an underwriter for a Lloyd’s Coverholder/MGA and as a member of Towergate’s Financial Risks team.
In his new role, Gorman will drive Miller’s wholesale services for brokers in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Australia, and regions needing the support of a London-based broker for specialised products.
