Specialist re/insurance broker Miller has appointed Chris Hardcastle as Head of Delegated Authorities, a newly created role where he will report to Tim Norman, Executive Committee member and Head of Delegated Authorities & Professional Risks.
Hardcastle holds just under 30 years’ experience working in delegated authority business, and joins from Alesco Risk Management, where he held the role of Managing Director of Delegated Authority for 10 years.
Prior to this, he was Managing Director of Delegated Authority at Capsicum, now Gallagher Re.
Hardcastlehas also held positions at Tysers and Aon over the course of his career.
His appointment will add to Miller’s strong existing presence in the delegated authority space as the business looks to broaden its product offering and jurisdictional capabilities.
