MS Amlin joins the Berne Union

Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group subsidiary MS Amlin, has joined the Berne Union as Observer Member alongside ABGF of Brazil, becoming the association’s two most recent additions.

ms-amlin-logo-newMS Amlin will join the MLT Committee, while ABGF will participate in the ECA (Export Credit Agency) and MLT(Medium and Long Term) Committees.

Berne Union Secretary General, Paul Heaney, said: “We are delighted to welcome ABGF and MS Amlin as Observer Members and equally happy to see the breadth of BU representation expanding across both the Lat Am region and the Lloyds insurance market.

“Both organisations bring with them a huge amount of experience, knowledge and expertise which will greatly enrich the BU community.”

The addition of ABGF and MS Amlin to the Berne Union, a global organization for export credit and investment insurance providers, reinforces its dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion within the export credit and political risk insurance industries worldwide, the association stated.

By joining the Berne Union, these new members will contribute to the organization’s mission of fostering best practices, sharing industry insights, and advocating for sustainable development in export and investment finance on a global scale.

This collaboration also strengthens the Union’s commitment to establishing robust public-private partnerships that stimulate industry growth, resilience, and innovation.
