19th September 2023 - Author: Kassandra Jimenez-Sanchez

MS Amlin, the Lloyd’s global re/insurer, has announced Jessie Burrows is to succeed Phil Green, who is retiring, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Subject to regulatory approval, Burrows will assume her role at the beginning of 2024 and will report to Andrew Carrier, Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

As part of a structured handover process, Burrows will work alongside current and retiring CFO Green, throughout the first quarter of 2024, as the two oversee the closure and submission of the 2023 year-end financial and regulatory reporting requirements.

Carrier commented: “I’m delighted to confirm Jessie’s appointment as our incoming CFO. Jessie brings extensive board level experience, financial expertise and business leadership, alongside a highly impressive track record for improving profitability and performance.

“Her experience in transformation and delivering client focussed solutions will be enormously valuable to our executive team and wider business. Jessie will join MS Amlin at the perfect time, as we continue to implement our profitable growth agenda.”
