Global reinsurer Munich Re is partnering with business spend management (BSM) provider Coupa Software as it looks to reduce paper invoicing, simplify and standardise procurement and related spend management processes, and provide suppliers with a unified platform for simpler and faster global transacting.
Coupa has been tasked with transforming Munich Re’s procurement and related spend management processes by deploying the first global source-to-pay solution within the organisation.
“We were impressed with the ease-of-use of the Coupa platform and see high potential to further automate the inbound invoice traffic with our suppliers, giving us the ability to speed up payments,” said Christoph Carus, Global Head of Reinsurance Accounting at Munich Re.
