Natalie Gleed joins Club Vita as US Head of Business Development

Club Vita, an independent longevity data analytics company, has announced the appointment of Natalie Gleed as Head of Business Development, US.

According to the announcement, Gleed’s hire was in response to growing demand for longevity analytics to support Pension Risk Transfer activity in the US and Club Vita’s increasing presence in this market.

In her new role, she will be responsible for driving the adoption of the company’s product suite and analytics in this area.

After establishing operations in the US in 2019, Club Vita’s analytics are now used by 14 of the 21 direct writers of US PRT business, and a growing number of reinsurers are also turning to Club Vita’s expertise to support their US operations.

Gleed brings over two decades of actuarial experience to her new role. She has previously held a variety of roles across the UK and US life insurance industries, most recently as a key account manager at Swiss Re.

“I’m excited to get started,” said Gleed. “My previous experience in the industry, both in the US and in the UK, have prepared me perfectly to bring Club Vita’s offering to the US market, and to help develop further innovations within Club Vita.”

Club Vita has also recently announced the promotion of Shantel Aris to Head of Longevity Experience Studies, and the appointments of Michael Reid, Alexandra Sonnenwirth and Mia Marcellus withing the company’s Canada team.

Reid was named Head of Pensions North America, Sonnenwirth was appointed Director, Client Delivery, and Marcellus joined the team as Longevity Modeller.
