The Navigators Group, Inc., a global specialty insurance and reinsurance firm, has appointed a new leadership team for the Asia region, with three senior hires all coming over to the firm from competitor Chubb.

Navigators said that the hires will build on the firms “existing participation in Lloyd’s China, where the company has operated since 2010 under the leadership of Junci Wu.”

The trio of hires, who all come over to Navigators from Chubb, will focus initially on providing Navigators’ marine, casualty and other specialty insurance or reinsurance products through agents and brokers, as well as through strategic partners across North Asia.

“Jon, S.K. and Paul all have a wealth of insurance experience in the region,” commented Michael J. Casella, Navigators’ President of International Insurance. “Their in-depth knowledge of the Asian marketplace and strong long-term relationships will support a thoughtfully executed expansion of our business in Asia.”
