Risk management and insurance company, NationsBuilders Insurance Services, Inc. (NBIS) – a subsidiary of DUAL North America, the US arm of DUAL, the Howden Group underwriting arm – has announced a new underwriting leadership structure with the return of Lindia Nicholas-Krittenen to the business, and the promotions of Chris Fiorentino and Jason Baynard.
In their new role, the three Vice Presidents of Underwriting, will be responsible for the management, development, and execution of underwriting strategies and objectives that will contribute to the achievement of profitable growth in support of the organisation’s objectives.
Combined, Fiorentino and Baynard have more than 20 years of NBIS experience, and have been key leaders in the Underwriting department and organisation, NBIS noted.
Since 1999, Fiorentino has worked as an underwriter for various other MGA’s/MGU’s, he joined NBIS in 2009. Baynard began his insurance career in 2003 as an underwriter trainee with Chubb Insurance and joined NBIS in 2014.
Nicholas-Krittenen has over 25 years of insurance experience, six of which were spent with the NBIS Underwriting team from 2008 – 2014. Prior to re-joining NBIS, she spent over a year at the NIP Group as Director of Excess Underwriting.
