San Francisco-based tech-driven broker Newfront has hired industry veteran John Newell as Chief Commercial Officer.
Newell holds over two decades of experience as a leader focused on delivering client experiences and building culture.
Before joining Newfront, Newell spent twenty years at Marsh, where he began his career as a producer before moving up the ranks.
Most recently, Newell oversaw the central US, a region of nearly 2,000 employees and prominent clients that has consistently delivered outpaced growth under his leadership.
Newfront suggests that it has reached an inflection point this year as a top 40 broker based on revenue, with close to 1,000 employees across the US.
Given this milestone, Newfront hired Newell to lead the insurance, benefits, and retirement services as it plans to continue transforming the insurance brokerage industry.
