Acquisitive insurance intermediary, Nexus has announced the appointment of Justin Yeo as Head of Nexus Accident & Health, Asia to further boost its ambitions in the region.
Yeo will be based in Singapore when joining the new Nexus Accident & Health division that has been created to build a diverse global Accident & Health account.
He will report to Managing Director, Peter Slot who joined Nexus in May 2020
Slot said: “I am delighted that someone of Justin’s calibre is joining the team as this clearly demonstrates Nexus’ strong commitment to expansion in the region.
“Justin will drive forward our Accident & Health business in Asia including China and will work with existing Nexus colleagues in Hong Kong and Labuan to develop and implement our overall strategy.”
Yeo joins Nexus from Aspen Singapore Pte Ltd where he was previously Director and Head of Accident & Health. In this role he was responsible for establishing and developing Aspen’s Accident & Health presence in Asia.
Prior to that he held various Accident & Health underwriting positions with Starr, Chubb and AIG.
