NFP, a property and casualty (P&C) broker, has announced the appointment of Meg McSherry to head the P&C business in its Atlantic region.
In her new role, McSherry will collaborate with Atlantic region leaders, industry groups, and risk practices to expand the commercial P&C business, the broker noted.
She will report directly to Ethan Foxman, President of the Atlantic region, and Tim DeSett, Executive Vice President of P&C.
Foxman expressed his enthusiasm for McSherry’s addition, stating, “I’m excited to welcome Meg to NFP and advance the integration of our P&C expertise and capabilities.”
“She is a proven leader who has extensive experience working with regional, national and international companies in the private equity, real estate and hospitality industries. Meg understands the needs of each business and how to align resources to help clients effectively mitigate risks and protect their assets.”
McSherry brings with her a wealth of experience, having previously worked at Marsh, where she held various roles, culminating in her position as the US and Canada Specialty Sales Leader.
In this capacity, she was responsible for overseeing sales strategies in diverse specialty practices. Her background also includes leadership roles with Chubb, The Hartford, and MasterCard, and she began her career as an underwriter at Chubb.
