Obsidian appoints Scott Palladino as Chief Business Development Officer

Obsidian Insurance Group has appointed insurance industry veteran Scott Palladino as Chief Business Development Officer.

Palladino joins Obsidian from Clear Blue where he served in a similar role, and was also one of the original members of the management team.

He started his career at Liberty Mutual, where he held various property and casualty underwriting and management positions over a 22-year period.

Additionally, Palladino also held leadership positions at Sompo Japan Nipponkoa, including Chief Underwriting Officer and Vice President of Specialty Operations. He was also a member of the board of Sompo Marine and Fire Company and a member of the US M&A team.
