After almost nine years with Munich Re America, part of the global re/insurance group, Daniel Boisvert has joined Odyssey Reinsurance Company as Senior Vice President (SVP) for its Property Treaty division.
Based in Stamford, Connecticut, Boisvert reports to Executive Vice President, Joseph Guardo, and brings more than 20 years of experience to the reinsurer.
Most recently, he served as SVP, Treaty Underwriting at Munich Re America, having joined the company in late 2015 as Vice President, Treaty Underwriting.
Prior to joining Munich Re, Boisvert held various leadership roles at insurer AIG and reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter, and also spent four years with TransRe, and more than four years with broker Aon Re in Canada as a catastrophe analyst.
