One80 Intermediaries, a specialty insurance broker, has acquired Comprehensive Planning – Goodman LLC. (CPG), an independent brokerage and managing general agency specialising in life insurance.
According to the announcement, this move marks One80’s second major acquisition in the life insurance space, firmly establishing offerings in all 50 states.
Boston-based CPG was established in 1995 and it provides life insurance, long term care, disability income and annuities. CPG focuses on impaired risk underwriting, life settlements and insurance solutions for business owners.
The firm maintains partnerships with more than 20 carrier partners while providing a consultative approach to the brokers and clients they serve.
