Client-centric broker Oneglobal has named Simon Plumridge Group Chief Operating Officer, reporting to Group Chief Executive Officer Mike Reynolds.
Plumridge’s appointment is effective July 1 and sees him join from QBE, having served as global head of multinational.
He has more than 30 years of underwriting, operations and distribution experience and a strong record of delivering innovative projects at some of the world’s largest insurance companies.
Before QBE, Plumridge spent time occupying senior underwriting and operations positions at Zurich, Starr and AIG.
Commenting on the appointment, Reynolds said, “As Oneglobal continues its international expansion, we are building a robust and effective operational framework to ensure the highest level of delivery for our clients.
“Simon’s industry knowledge of both business development and operations delivery will be invaluable in creating an exceptional infrastructure that will power the next stages of our growth, and I am delighted he is joining our senior team.”
