Risk, safety, and insurance Software as a Service (SaaS) technology firm, Origami Risk, has named Chris Bennett as Chief Strategy Officer, and Mike Kaplan as Division President within its Core Solutions arm.
With these appointments, the division is positioned to sustain its accelerated growth in serving insurers, managing general agents, program administrators, third-party claims administrators, risk pools, and brokers, says the firm.

The Core Solutions division was established by Origami in 2019, with Bennett becoming its President where he quickly oversaw the rapid expansion.
With Kaplan now assuming all operational responsibilities, Bennett will have an expanded role guiding the division’s growth and development. This includes building new capabilities and solution sets to address the dynamic and evolving needs of a diverse clientele.
Bennett brings nearly 30 years of experience in client service, sales and product management to the role. He has been a prominent leader in risk management and insurance technology.
Kaplan joins Origami with three decades of experience in operations, professional services, customer success, and change management, including more than 10 years in various leadership positions with Salesforce.
Prior to this, he was Chief Customer Officer at Integrate. He has also held management positions at ExactTarget (acquired by Salesforce), and Oracle, and co-founded Acuite Consulting Solutions, which worked with Fortune 1000 companies throughout the U.S. and Canada.
