Bermuda domiciled reinsurer PartnerRe has appointed Garry Xue as head of Australia/New Zealand.
He will be based in Hong Kong and will report to CEO life & health Asia Pacific John Mok.
In his new position, Xue will oversee the further development and growth of PartnerRe’s life & health business in Australia/New Zealand.
He brings 14 years of experience in the life and health market in Australia and has held a variety of actuarial roles including in valuation, capital and pricing in both insurance and reinsurance.
Prior to this appointment, he was spent the last two years at Swiss Re Australia as head of group pricing.
He has also worked as senior director of Aon Reinsurance Solutions where he was managing their reinsurance brokerage business in Australia/New Zealand and Taiwan.
