Lloyd’s of London insurer and member of Argo Group, ArgoGlobal, has named Paul Blunden as medical class underwriter, effective immediately.
In his new role, Blunden will report to ArgoGlobal’s Head of Specialty, John Moffatt, and joins the firm from Tokio Marine Kiln where he was most recently medical underwriter. While at Tokio Marine, he was responsible for managing Syndicate 510’s medical account, and played an important role in growing the size of the portfolio through the development of new products.
Before Tokio Marine Kiln, Blunden held underwriting positions at Brit, Cassidy Davis Syndicate, Frankona, and Colonial Mutual, and brings over 30 years of industry experience to ArgoGlobal.
