Hong Kong-based global reinsurer Peak Re has expanded its Structured Solutions team to enhance product diversity and deliver customised reinsurance solutions to both its Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) clients.
The expanded Structured Solutions team will reportedly operate independently, underscoring its commitment to providing the most effective and tailored solutions. Still, Peak Re noted that the team will maintain a close working relationship with Peak Re’s P&C and L&H business teams to ensure it draws on the firm’s expertise to create innovative and practical solutions.
The new team is led by Chenwei Li, who holds around 20 years of experience in the re/insurance industry. He joined Peak Re as an Appointed Actuary in 2018 and subsequently took up the role of Head of Structured Solutions of L&H and Co-head of L&H in 2022.
Li’s new role is focused on Structured Solutions for P&C and L&H clients. Tony Zhong and Min Zhang join him, both Senior Actuaries with extensive experience in capital, risk, and financial management.
