PERse hires Tayler Marshall as VP, Casualty of Americas team

PERse, the managing general underwriter (MGU) specialising in renewable energy and part of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, has added three new renewable energy casualty experts to its Americas team, who each join the firm following Ryan Specialty’s recent acquisition of Ethos Specialty Insurance’s property & casualty (P&C) MGUs.

technologyTayler Marshall, joins as Vice President, Casualty, with nine years of industry experience, having most recently served as Vice President of Clean Tech at Ethos Specialty.

She has deep expertise in underwriting captive and program P&C lines, and throughout her career, she has held excess casualty and products liability underwriting and management roles.

In addition, PERse has also appointed Adam Bitar as an Underwriter. Prior to joining the organisation, he served as a Technical Underwriter on the Ethos Specialty Clean Tech team, where he researched and documented a wide range of technologies critical to decarbonisation and sustainability and offered technical analysis of casualty risks across the team.

Throughout his career, Bitar has held a diverse set of unique roles within the energy space, having worked in solar development and financing, manufacturing in the nuclear industry, HVAC system design, and Carbon Capture & Sequestration policy work.

Lastly, William Gallagher joins the organisation as an Associate Underwriter. He most recently served as an Associate
Underwriter with Ethos Specialty on their Clean Tech program.

Gallagher specialises in casualty insurance for a range of Clean Tech products.
