PIB Group Ltd, a specialist insurance intermediary, has announced the appointment of Rob Houghton as Chief Operations Officer (COO).
In his new role, Houghton will join the group’s executive leadership team. His remit will span technology and operations, working closely with CEOs and leaders across the group to drive growth while streamlining and scaling operations and processes.
He is a senior leader with more than 30 years of experience. He joins PIB from Aspen Insurance Group, where he served as Group COO.
Prior to that, Houghton was a Non-Executive Director at NHS Supply Chain. He also served as COO at MS Amlin and was CEO of Amlin Business Services.
Earlier in his career, he spent more than 13 years at Aviva in a number of senior roles, most recently as UK Life CIO and UK Technical Services Director.
