David Loughran has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Praedicat, the liability emerging risk analytics company.
Loughran, who previously served as Praedicat’s Senior Vice President of Product & Chief Economist, has been with the company for more than 11 years.
In fact, Loughran is one of the co-founder’s of the organisation, which was launched in 2012.
In his previous role, Loughran played a critical role in developing the theoretical framework, analytical methods, and data structures that underlie the company’s emerging risk and insurance modeling platforms.
Prior to joining Praedicat as a founding member, Loughran served as a Senior Economist at the RAND Corporation.
In this role, he served as principal investigator for a diverse portfolio of empirically-driven, policy-relevant research in the areas of insurance, labor markets, demography, and energy.
