The President and Chief Operating Officer for Lloyd’s Japan, Iain Ferguson, is to take on additional responsibilities as Regional Director across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Having first joined Lloyd’s in 2007, Ferguson has more than 20 years’ experience working in Japan and across Asia.
Lloyd’s says its’ organisational structure in Asia has been adjusted to position Asia Pacific and China under the same leadership, with Ferguson taking up his Tokyo-based role from 1 January 2019.
Prior to serving at Lloyd’s, Ferguson worked for Royal Insurance, now RSA, in London and the Middle East, before relocating to Japan for the firm.
He then spent a short amount of time back in the UK for RSA, before returning to Tokyo to take on the role of President for Lloyd’s Japan.
