Howden Reinsurance Broker’s Head of Iberia, Alex Ramírez has left the organisation and joined Hispania (Grupo Concentra) as Head of Reinsurance & OM Business, as first reported by Spanish publication Inese.
The Concentra Group is a member of the WBN (Worldwide Broker Network), the largest network of independent brokers in the world with more than 100 members in more than 100 countries.
A highly experienced veteran, Ramírez brings over 25 years of industry expertise towards his new role.
Prior to joining Howden Reinsurance Brokers in 2021, Ramírez served as a Partner at reinsurance broker, Arthur J. Gallagher, a role he would hold for over six years.
Before that, he spent over four years serving as Head of GCFac Iberia at Guy Carpenter.
Ramírez began his career in the sector in 1997, working at EOS Risq, where he served as an Actuary for five years.
