Ventis, a newly launched Commercial and Residential real estate Managing General Agent (MGA), has officially commenced operations, aiming to provide tailored solutions for a diverse range of property profiles.
Led by Gareth Roberts, formerly the head of Covéa’s Mid-Market Specialist and Network division, Ventis boasts an extensive range of coverage supported by a team of proficient market trading underwriters.
The primary focus of Ventis lies in targeting medium-sized property risks, identifying and capitalising on standard risks often overlooked in the property market, ranging from £50k to over £1m.
The MGA will underwrite UK risks with a comprehensive suite of cover extensions, including Buildings, Loss of Rent, Employers’ Liability, Property Owners’ Liability, Terrorism, and optional Legal Expenses.
Ventis is set to collaborate closely with a select group of partner brokers in its endeavour.
The experienced Ventis underwriting team includes Holly Mist, a Senior Development Underwriter with over fourteen years of real estate insurance experience, Rob Murton, a Senior Development Underwriter with a decade of specialised expertise, and Zoe Hughes, Cert CII, an accomplished insurance professional serving as an Underwriter for new business.
Gareth Roberts, CEO of Ventis, expressed the company’s vision, stating, “Ventis is designed to be a breath of fresh air for the property insurance market. Our ethos is based on prioritising high-quality service to brokers and clients and using this as the platform to build productive partnerships that will last for the long term.”
He continued, “I believe there is a huge opportunity in the market for a real estate MGA that is willing to invest in broker relationships and can provide real and flexible underwriting service to the same high standards as the major players. Our business model is built on giving brokers easy access to underwriters and rapid service delivery so that we can build partnerships that will last for the long term.”
Ventis has launched with the backing of Mission Underwriters, securing long-term capacity through Accelerant Insurance Europe.
