Relation Insurance Services expands Specialty Practice with senior hires

Relation Insurance Services, an insurance brokerage firm, has confirmed the appointment of Matthew Schott, Kevin Smith, Courtney Maugé, Jonathan Franznick and Scott Moseley to its Specialty Practice.

Relation Insurance Services noted that the appointments form part of its continued focus on developing its specialty offering and strengthening a platform that combines technical capability with national scale.

Schott has been appointed Practice Leader, Management & Financial Lines. Relation Insurance Services states he brings more than 25 years of experience in management and professional liability, advising organisations on directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, errors and omissions insurance, crime cover and related executive risk areas.

Smith joins as SVP, Management & Financial Lines. Relation Insurance Services highlights his experience across management liability, cyber and professional liability, having led teams and advised clients on complex executive and professional risk issues.

Maugé has been appointed SVP, Cyber Risk. Relation Insurance Services describes her as a specialist in cyber insurance with experience supporting organisations in responding to evolving cyber threats and developing resilience-focused risk strategies.

Franznick joins as SVP, Claims Advocacy, Management & Financial Lines. Relation Insurance Services notes his background in claims and advocacy, supporting clients through complex claims processes and working towards positive outcomes across management and professional liability matters.

Moseley has been appointed SVP, Private Equity Risk. Relation Insurance Services says he brings experience advising private equity firms and portfolio companies on risk management and insurance approaches designed to support growth and value creation.
