New York domiciled international reinsurer, TransRe, has announced the appointment of Kyle Rhodes to the newly created role of Global Head of Business Development.
Rhodes has been with TransRe for the past eleven years and has excelled in various leadership roles, and now takes on the newly created position as the firm’s Global Head of Business Development. Prior to TransRe, Rhodes, spent almost a decade with Employers Re.
The new role will see Rhodes support the reinsurer’s business unit leaders and underwriting teams in order to provide additional value to both clients and brokers, as well as the development of additional profitable growth for TransRe.
The role will see Rhodes assist and support the delivery of the company’s third-party, or alternative capital for clients, and Rhodes will be expected to build stronger, strategic alliances with customers and brokers via planning, and more frequent and intense engagement with both senior broker and client executives, in an effort to identify and capitalise on opportunities and initiatives.
