After a distinguished 35 year career with McKinsey, Mike Pritula will join international catastrophe risk modelling company RMS, as President.
Pritula is set to begin his new role as RMS President from March 1st, 2017, and will set the vision for the company’s client service and market development.
The appointment highlights RMS’s client-centric insurance industry commitment as it continues to place clients’ business transformation through data analytics and platform-driven solutions at the forefront of its strategic agenda.
Hemant Shah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and co-founder of RMS, welcomed Mike Pritula to the role; “For more than two decades I’ve had the opportunity to experience first-hand Mike’s leadership in the industry. As President, Pritula will join the RMS Executive Committee, which includes CEO Hemant Shah; Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Peter Eidelman; Mohsen Rahnama, Chief Risk Modeling Officer; Eric Yau, General Manager of platform and software; and Michael Steel, Global Head of Solutions.

Throughout his career as a leader in developing McKinsey’s insurance practice, Pritula has helped develop and implement growth strategies for leading participants in the industry. He has worked on enhancing operational performance across all functions, and has helped senior executives to improve their organisation’s effectiveness.
Pritula is a member of the Boards of the School of Risk Management at St. John’s, the International Insurance Society, the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and The Joyce Ivy Foundation.
