Independent re/insurance broker BMS has announced the appointment of Rob Neighbour as Divisional Director, BMS Energy, a London-based role and report to Alex Collier, Director of Energy at BMS.
According to the announcement, Neighbour will take over his new position following the completion of his contractual obligations at Alesco Risk Management Services, where he most recently served as Executive Partner.
He joined Alesco in 2017 as Partner, he was appointed Head of Upstream Broking following six years in the position.
Before this, Neighbour began his career at Howden Insurance Brokers before joining Thompson Heath and Bond Ltd as a broker.
Neighbour’s appointment marks the first hire in BMS’s energy team since Alex Collier and Josh Saggers joined as directors, and Andrew Vertigan as senior account handler in February of last year, the broker stated.
