Robert Larocca named Chief Strategic Relations Officer at SterlingRisk

Independent insurance brokerage SterlingRisk Insurance has announced the appointment of Robert F. Larocca as Chief Strategic Relations Officer.

Larocca, who began his career at SterlingRisk in 1999, will retain his title of Executive Vice President and continue to report directly to SterlingRisk CEO David Sterling.

“It has been an honor to work with Rob for over 20 years,” said Sterling. “He has directly contributed to the growth of our agency, playing a key role in achieving our vision and broadening our marketplace opportunities.”

Larocca has a particular focus on areas such as human services, real estate, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and professional services, and also has experience working with high net-worth individuals and families.

Prior to joining SterlingRisk, Larocca held the position of Long Island Branch Manager for American International Group (AIG) after having served as Assistant Vice President at Johnson & Higgins.

He began his career in 1991 as an insurance broker with Marsh & McLennan in New York.
