Rokstone, the Aventum Group’s international re/insurance MGA, has appointed Paul Amrose as head of its new North American Excess Facultative Property team, based in Connecticut.
Amrose is set to join Rokstone on the 2nd of January after serving his notice with Accredited USA, where he was most recently Chief Underwriting Officer.
Rokstone suggested that its new North American Excess Facultative Property team, backed by Lloyds and led by Hiscox 33, will become a “market-leading proposition” under Amrose’s leadership, initially with a $5m line.
Before Accredited, Amrose served in a host of senior roles, including Head of Programs / EVP at Ascot Insurance (US), and Chief Underwriting Officer at Ascot Underwriting Inc.
