RSA Insurance, a British multinational general insurance company, has announced two new appointments to its UK Specialty Lines Accident & Health (A&H) business.
Laura Fox joins the business as Regional Underwriting Manager and will start her new role on 19 December 2022. Forhad Alam was appointed Specialist Underwriter, effective January 2023.
Fox has more than 25 years sector experience. She spent the majority of her career with Chubb and was latterly Personal A&H Senior Underwriter and Team Leader in Manchester.
She left Chubb in December 2021 to join Aviva, where she spent over a year as Regional Accident & Health – UK Manager.
Alam joins RSA from Chubb, where he has spent the last five years and is currently A&H Underwriter. He has also worked for CNA Hardy and Compass Underwriting.

UK Specialty Lines is part of Intact’s Global Specialty Lines, which offers integrated global propositions for brokers and customers with more complex international risks.
