RSA Insurance has made two appointments in its Global Network team, naming Melissa Rayner and Christian Garcia as Global Network Relationship Managers.
RSA explained that Rayner will manage the company’s relationships with Global Network Partners in Africa and Middle East, while Garcia will manage relationships with its Global Network Partners in Latin America.
Rayner began her career at International Financial Data Services before joining the law firm, CMS Cameron McKenna.
She then went to join QBE Insurance, where she started her insurance career.
At QBE, she worked in the unit looking after multinational cases. Rayner served for almost a decade at QBE, with her most recent role as Senior Multinational Case Handler.
Meanwhile, Garcia is an EU Qualified Solicitor who specialises in immigration. In 2020, he joined the London office of Spanish law firm, Alberto Perez Cedillo, where he qualified. After qualifying, he joined Deloitte Legal. He held several roles at Deloitte, most recently as Manager.
Rayner is based in London, having joined the business in October, while Garcia starts his new role in January, and will be based in London.
Both report to Francesco Fordred, Strategic Relationship Manager at RSA Insurance, who commented, “Our extensive Global Network serves as a formidable asset for our multinational clients, something they can rely on for compliance solutions for their multinational programmes.
