Global insurance provider RSA Insurance has announced a number of changes to its Commercial Lines leadership team, who will lead the combined business following the acquisition of NIG/FarmWeb.
In September 2023 RSA agreed to acquire Direct Line’s brokered Commercial Lines operations – an acquisition that “significantly strengthened” the firm’s UK&I business -, which included a number of brands such as NIG and Farm Web.
The new Commercial Lines leadership team will report to Sonya Bryson, who was recently appointed as the RSA Commercial Lines Managing Director.
Steve Scott, currently Director of Broker Markets at NIG, has been appointed as Regional Director and will be responsible for mid-market and regionally-traded business.
Steve Hedge will remain as Delegated Director responsible for schemes and delegated business, while Tovah Grosscurth, currently Personal Lines Strategy & Performance Director, will become Commercial Lines Digital Director responsible for SME and eTrade business.
The current Head of Strategic Broker Relationships, Marketing & Propositions at NIG, David Enoch, was named Distribution & Proposition Director. He will be responsible for strategic partners, sales and marketing.
Finally, Rob Flynn, the current SME Director, will become Commercial Lines Chief Transformation Director and will be responsible for transformation and tech enablement, plus leveraging data to drive performance.
