Ryan Specialty Group Europe (RSG Europe) has announced the addition of Will Gay within RSG Transactional Risks Europe (RSG TRE), as it continues to expand the underwriting capabilities of the unit.
RSG TRE operates as a specialised Managing General Underwriter that focuses solely on providing transactional insurance solutions to the mergers & acquisitions (M&A) community.
In his new role, Gay will focus on Commercial Tax Liability insurance, together with Kerry Westwell, Head of Tax at RSG TRE.
Gay is a senior tax lawyer and he joins RSG TRE from a private practice where he has worked for the past 16 years, advising clients on a full range of tax matters including complex cross border M&A deals, all aspects of Private Equity advisory work and large commercial UK and European real estate transactions.
Peter McKenna, Managing Director of RSG Europe, said: “Will Gay will enhance our underwriting capabilities in Tax W&I and will support further growth of RSG’s transactional risk practice in Europe.”
