Ryan Specialty’s wholesale distribution specialty, RT Specialty, has announced the promotion of Jim Mitchell to President of its national workers’ compensation practice. The appointment is effective immediately.
Mitchell has been with RT Specialty since 2020, joining with the acquisition of All Risks, Ltd.
He has experience in leadership in designing proprietary workers’ compensation programs within hard-to-place industries and has mitigated risks for clients but has also helped them navigate regulatory challenges effectively.
RT Specialty expects Mitchell’s strategic vision and deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of workers’ compensation will help play a crucial role in expanding its market presence.
The firm aims to further strengthen its position as a trading partner for businesses seeking dynamic risk management solutions.
It currently has ten workers’ compensation programs including Trucking, Healthcare, Restaurants with Delivery, and other hard-to-place classes.
