Ryan Specialty Group, LLC, has acquired the assets and operations of North Carolina-based independently owned managing general underwriter, International Specialty Insurance Services Inc. (ISI).
The deal was initially announced in February 2019, and makes ISI’s team part of RSG Underwriting Managers, LLC, which is the managing general underwriting division of Ryan Specialty Group.
ISI provides high-value disability and other related insurance solutions to athletes, entertainers, physicians, and other higher-earning professionals.
The firm has deep knowledge and understanding of the high-value disability market, and also the continual development of new solutions and programs.
ISI was privately owned and led by Matthew Ferraro, Joseph Ferraro, and Christopher Larcheveque. These individuals, as well as the entire ISI team, remain with the firm under the RSG ownership.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
