Ryan Specialty, the international specialty insurance firm, has promoted Lana Jankovic to the Chief Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Officer, effective immediately.
Jankovic joined the insurer three years ago and is an industry veteran with over 25 years of insurance industry experience in audit, SOX compliance, information technology, risk management, and process improvement.
Patrick G. Ryan, Founder, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Ryan Specialty, commented on the promotion, “Lana has proven herself as an expert and leader in the field of internal audit and SOX compliance and is the right person to fill this very important role.
“Lana has been critical for us as we transformed from a private company to being publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange. With her knowledge and leadership skills, Lana will continue to guide us in these critical areas.”
Previously, Jankovic served as Vice President of SOX compliance of Ryan Specialty, where she led the implementation of the firm’s financial controls compliance program with the transition of Ryan Specialty to a publicly traded company in mid-2021.
Before joining Ryan Specialty, Jankovic was the Vice President of North American Internal Audit and Global SOX at AmTrust Financial.
This promotion follows the appointment of Pat Ryan, Jr. to the Board of Directors as William Devers retired.
In January 2024, the insurer also expanded its renewable energy insurance offering on a global basis with PERse International, a managing general underwriter.
