Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has announced the promotion of Sarah Howell to the role of London Head of First Party Claims.
Howell will take over her new role with immediate effect and report to Scott Kellers, LSM London Head and Deputy Head of Claims.
She will be responsible for providing technical leadership and management across the London first party claims team. She will also work strategically across the claims function to support the wider LSM strategy through its award-winning claims proposition.

Howell is bringing to her new role over two decades of experience in the industry in various technical and managerial roles. She rejoined LSM in 2022 from Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance where she was Head of Property Claims.
She joined Berkshire after serving for close to two years as Syndicate Head of Claims at Beat Capital Partners Ltd. Prior to that, she had been part of LSM for seven years.
