SCOR, a global reinsurance company providing risk management solutions, has announced the appointment of Minas Kalachian Senior Vice President, Head of Alternative Solutions, North America.
In his new position, Kalachian will oversee the strategic expansion of SCOR’s alternative risk transfer portfolio across the North American Property & Casualty (P&C) market.
He will be responsible for leading regional business development, deepening client and broker relationships and the creation of tailored, structured solutions designed to address complex capital and risk management needs.
Kalachian brings over two decades of origination, structuring and underwriting expertise in a broad range of tailor-made reinsurance, insurance, and financial risk transactions to SCOR.
The executive has joined the company from Canada Life Reinsurance, where he most recently served as US P&C Capital Solutions.
His experience also includes eight years at Allianz Risk Transfer, Inc., and a decade at XL Catlin (now AXA XL).
