SCOR Global Life makes senior promotions across Global Markets & Finance teams

SCOR Global Life, a division of the France-headquartered reinsurer, has announced a series of senior appointments across its Global Markets and Finance and R&D teams.

SCORWithin the Global Markets team, these include the promotions of Miguel Alferieff to Executive Head of Client Relationships and Roy Chappell to Executive Head of Proposition.

Alferieff will be in charge of developing the SCOR Global Life client strategy and managing key clients across the world, while Chappell will ensure a compelling value proposition for clients together with the market leaders. Both will report to David O’Brien, Deputy of the Global Market and Head of Clients Strategy & Solutions.

SCOR also announced the promotions of Michael Colannino to EVP, U.S. Markets, Growth and Development; Brock Robbins to Head of U.S. In-force and Deputy CEO North-America; and Tammy Kapeller to EVP, U.S. Process Optimization. They will continue to report to JC Brueckner, CEO of North America.

Also within the Global Markets team, Pilar Santamaria has been promoted to Head of Western Europe & Latin America; Damien Bartlett to Head of U.K., Ireland & South Africa; and Michael Breuer to Head of Central Europe and Nordics. They will report to Brona Magee, Deputy CEO of SCOR Global Life and Head of Global Markets.

Additionally, Do Rho has been promoted to Head of North Asia, with responsibility for South Korea and Japan, while Tony Ho is to become head of South Asia, with responsibility for South East Asia, India, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Both will continue to report to Craig Ford, CEO of Asia Pacific.

Within the Finance and R&D team, SCOR announced the promotions of Redmond Murphy to Head of Business Performance, SGL and Colm Guiry to Chief Financial Officer. Murphy and Guiry will each report to Paolo De Martin, CEO of SCOR Global Life.

Finally, Stephen Devine has been promoted to CEO of SGLRI, reporting to Murphy, while Vincent Lepez will become Deputy Chief Knowledge Officer, reporting to Bruno Latourrette, Chief Knowledge Officer.
