SCOR hires Lea Müller as Head of Global Lines Cat Pricing

Global reinsurance firm SCOR has appointed Lea Müller as Head of Global Lines Cat Pricing.


Müller brings 10 years experience in re/insurance, natural catastrophe modelling and agricultural products.

Previously, she was Head of Consulting at CelsiusPro, where together with her team she consulted clients from the public and private sectors on climate, agricultural and natural catastrophe risks worldwide.

She has also worked at Swiss Re as Natural Hazards Expert structuring parametric solutions for the public sector and as Climate Change Specialist developing climate adaptation strategies.

Müller and her team are responsible for providing pricing and modelling for Global Lines cat business at SCOR, with a special focus on agricultural reinsurance contracts worldwide.


In her new role, she has overall responsibility for the technical robustness of the models and methods and works in close cooperation with the underwriting heads of Global Lines (agriculture, marine and engineering).

Müller commented: “I am very happy to announce that I have joined SCOR as Head of Global Lines Cat Pricing.
