Aon, a global professional services firm, has appointed Sean Deehan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Strategy and Technology Group for Asia Pacific (APAC), effective immediately.
He is based in Hong Kong, and reports to Sherif Zakhary, Global CEO of Aon’s Strategy and Technology Group and Inpoint.
In his new role, Deehan is responsible for expanding access to Aon’s integrated advisory, analytics and technology-led solutions. He will focus on expanding adoption of Aon’s Life Risk Modeling Suite in APAC, including PathWise, the firm’s platform for life and annuity risk modeling.
Deehan has over 25 years of experience across insurance, consulting, strategy and risk management, with extensive expertise in Greater China and across Asia Pacific. Previously, he has led businesses and growth initiatives across several insurance markets, with experience in strategy, actuarial leadership, M&A, market entry strategy, product innovation, risk management and client advisory.
Most recently, Deehan served at Willis Towers Watson as Divisional Leader for Greater China and Head of Hong Kong and Macau. He previously held several senior executive and board-level roles, including CEO and executive director of standard life (Asia).
