Sedgwick has revealed the structure of the leadership team for its newly combined company in Australia following its recent acquisition of Cunningham Lindsey, a global loss adjusting, claims management, and risk solutions firm.

sedgwick-logoDamon Bennett has been named as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Asia Pacific and will lead Sedgwick’s team in the region, which includes a presence in nine Asian countries, Australia and New Zealand.

Bennett has worked at Cunningham Lindsey since 2001, most recently as CEO for Asia Pacific and earlier as CEO of Cunningham Lindsey Australia.

“As a new leadership team, we are focused on working together to bring the best of Sedgwick to our clients,” Bennett said. “Now that we are backed by their strength and resources, we are the largest and most capable claim management firm in the world, and we are committed to reflecting that in our growth ambitions in Australia.”

Additionally, Sedgwick has announced that Diego Ascani will continue in his role as Chief Operating Officer, while Anita Wilson has been appointed as Head of Client and Sales with responsibility for leading the sales, broker, and account management teams across all Australian service sectors.

Meanwhile, Jason Wyer remains in his role as Head of People and Performance, and Andre Firth continues as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Australia.

“In order to meet the ongoing needs of our clients and customers, it is critical that we continue to review and adapt our enterprise and service line strategies, and consequently, our internal organizational structure,” Ascani said.

Sedgwick has also restructured its regional leadership, appointing Gary Pahl as States and Territory Manager for New South Wales, Australian capital territory, Victoria and Tasmania; Belinda Powell as the State Manager for Queensland; and Bradley Johnson as the States and Territory Manager for South Australia, northern territory, and western Australia.

Ascani continued: “Our clients and their customers remain at the forefront of our business, and we continue to develop and enhance our client delivery model to reflect their changing needs.

“As a result, we have realigned all our service lines and operational structure to ensure we continue to provide the highest level of service, further enhanced by our evolving technology enablement.”

Following its acquisition, Sedgwick recently made several additional appointments to its leadership teams in the UK and internationally.
