Slide Insurance, the full-stack homeowners insurtech focused on writing business in Florida currently, is expanding further into the market with the launch of an admitted H06 condominium insurance policy, Reinsurance News has learned.
Slide is opening the availability of coverage for HO6 new business from December 12th, we’re told, as it plans a further expansion of its fast-growing portfolio.
From that date, agents will be able to write both admitted HO3 homeowners and H06 condo coverage through Slide Insurance Company, by using the insurtech’s new agent portal that launches on the same date.
It will be Slide’s launch of new business for the HO6 product and comes on the back of an upgrade to its main tool for insurance agents.
From January 1st 2024, all new policy quoting and binding will take place in Slide’s new agent portal, named Violet.
The insurtech promises that completing quotes and applications using the new Violet portal will be faster and simpler.
Violet will pre-populate many of the property data fields for agents and also run a replacement cost estimator, making agents lives easier when choosing a Slide policy for their customers.
It’s the latest use of advanced data technology by Slide to provide a more seamless experience to agents selling its policies.
The addition of H06 condo covers as an option will also give agents a greater range of options to choose Slide Insurance and at the same time the insurtech’s expansion to condos will also further build out its own risk portfolio.
