Sompo International, a leading global provider of commercial and consumer property and casualty re/insurance has appointed Claire Cordell as Non-Executive Director, Chair of the Audit Committee for Sompo International’s UK subsidiary board of directors.
Overall. Cordell brings more than 25 years of industry experience towards the role.
In her most recent role, she served as Chief Financial Officer for Aldermore Bank where she was also a member on the company’s board as an executive for two years.
Additionally, she has also previously served in senior roles at RSA Insurance Group.
During her tenure at the firm, she served as Head of Investor Relations for just over three years, and also held the roles of M&A Manager, Emerging Markets, as well as Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, Emerging Markets.
