Sompo International, a global property & casualty reinsurer, has appointed Jérôme Gossé as Head of Cyber Insurance, Continental Europe.
In the role, he will report to Mathieu Borneuf, Head of Professional Lines, Insurance, Continental Europe.
Gossé joins the company after a nearly six year tenure at Chubb European Group, where he served as Head of Cyber for Continental Europe and the MENA region.
Prior to joining Chubb, he worked for Zurich in Paris, where he held a number of different roles.
This includes: Head of Professional Indemnity & Management Liabilities (France), and Head of Cyber Security & Privacy – EMEA.
In addition, Gossé also previously spent seven years working at Marsh, where he was based in Toronto and Paris.
He joined the firm in 2004 as a Claims Representative, before later going on to work as an Insurance Broker in 2006. Then between late 2006-2011, he held the role of Client Advisor, Communications, Media & Technology Practice Leader.
