Specialty MGA UK has expanded its global expertise with the appointment of Duncan Urquhart as Senior Underwriter for Construction and Engineering.
Urquhart holds over four decades of experience, having spent most of his career in London, Hong Kong and Australia.
In Asia, he led the Willis Towers Watson Construction Practice based in Hong Kong, supporting construction projects across the continent including in Singapore, Beijing and Shanghai.
He has also previously led Marsh Construction in London, where he was reportedly responsible for some of the capital’s most prominent infrastructure projects.
In his new role at Specialty MGA UK’s London offices, Urquhart will have oversight of construction including single projects and annual facilities for Owners, Project Sponsors and Contractors, as well as covering Machinery Breakdown and Mining Plant and Equipment.
