Swiss Re Corporate Solutions (SRCS), the commercial insurance arm of reinsurer Swiss Re, has announced the appointment of Ronald Nagy as Head A&H Underwriting, effective June 1, 2020.
In this role, Nagy will be responsible for leading the Accident & Health (A&H) Underwriting team.
Based in Schaumburg, Illinois, he will oversee a team of Underwriters, Clinical Risk Managers and the Products Lead supporting traditional and non-traditional solutions in the employer stop-loss market.
Nagy brings 30 years of insurance experience, having held positions with progressively greater responsibility throughout his career.
Prior to joining Swiss Re in 2014, he led high performing teams as a Director of Underwriting and Regional Underwriting Manager at two national health carriers.
Nagy currently serves as Senior Underwriting Lead for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions. Pamela Carr will assume his current responsibilities as of June 1.

Nagy succeeds Joel McKeever who will retire as of September 30, 2020.

“He leaves behind a solid foundation on which Ron and the team can build as we advance corporate insurance in the employer stop-loss space.”
